Dr. Purnima Voria is the Founder and CEO of the National US India Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Voria was appointed by the US Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke as a National Advisor to the Minority Business Development Agency to drive growth and policy-making for 7.8 million minority businesses in the US, which attributes to a trillion dollar economy of U.S. She also served US Commerce Secretaries John Bryson, Rebecca Blank, and Penny Pritzker under President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama’s administration from 2004-2014. In 2017, Ms. Voria was invited by the US State Department to join Ivanka Trump at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Hyderabad, India.
 
Dr. Purnima Voria has been strengthening Indo-US international ties and enriching our communities through diverse cultural exchanges and Trade and Investments.
 
In Colorado, where the National US India Chamber of Commerce is headquartered, Ms. Voria was selected to serve on both Governor Owens’ and Denver Mayor Hickenlooper’s Asian Advisory Councils.
 
An internationally recognized speaker, Ms. Voria served as Opening Speaker for the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia on Trade and Investments. She has been featured on BBC World News London as a commentator on climate change and the role of various nations’ stances on the issue. She also participated in Voice of America TV and Radio’s thoughtprovoking discussion entitled Global Women’s Empowerment. Furthermore, she was featured on India Today, a leading magazine, and spoke on the importance of Non Resident Indian’s role in contributing to the rise of India as an economic superpower, as
well as The Times Of India, India Abroad, The Denver Post, The Denver Business Journal and the Colorado Today Television show. Ms. Voria travels frequently between the U.S. and India, promoting businesses and consulting for corporations and industry trade associations. She has also travelled globally to China, Israel, New Zealand, and other countries as keynote speaker for Global CEO business conferences along with French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin as a keynote speaker. Dr. Voria was also invited to be speaker at United Nations, South Korea Business Summit with 15,000 attendees along with Neil Bush on Doing Business with India and the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Jay Tahasildar

Jay is a software entrepreneur based out of Milton Keynes. He is Founder and Managing Director of Mercurius IT.

He has over 30 years of successful track record in the field of large projects and information technology.

Jay is well known for his networking and relationship management skills, both being key drivers of his leadership style. Jay thrives on multi-faceted challenges and enjoys growing organisations. Prior to founding Mercurius, Jay has worked in various executive and managerial roles with multi-nationals such as Siemens, Tata Infotech (now TCS) & NovaSoft Information Technology. Jay holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering.

Jay is also an outdoor enthusiast and a world traveller.

Amarjit is Chief Executive Officer of the India Business Group, a leading UK based business advisory consultancy. Amarjit specialises in cross-border business transactions between the UK and India. With expertise in law and international relations, he advises on a range of issues including business strategy, market research, international business development and contractual matters. In addition to offering business advisory services, Amarjit and the IBG have unrivalled expertise in introducing and partnering British and Indian businesses.

As a nationally recognised expert in Indian business affairs, Amarjit was one of two handpicked lawyers to accompany the Prime Minister, David Cameron, on his historic 2013 Trade Delegation to India. In 2013, 2014 and 2015 Amarjit was named in the prestigious Sikh 100 Power List of key international figures who are deemed the most influential and contemporary Sikhs in the World.

Amarjit has developed a deep understanding about the Indian business culture and is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi. He has participated in several trade missions to India. He has written articles for various global business publications, is a media commentator and is active on social media platforms. Amarjit has also delivered guest lectures about UK/India business relations at several education institutions, including the world-renowned Judge Business School, Cambridge University and the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA).

The recipient of several awards and honours, Amarjit was Solicitor of the Year 2011 in the UK Asian Diaspora Achievers Awards and a 2013’Best in Legal Services finalist of the influential British Indian Awards. In January 2015 he was honoured with a special award from the Global Punjabi Society in Delhi for his significant achievements in strengthening bilateral tradeand investment relations. Amarjit’s work involves him linking with a range of key stakeholders in the international business community.

In 2019, Amarjit was named as one of the “Europe- India Young Leaders, Top 40 under 40” unveiled at the European Parliament in Brussels for his extensive work in the EU – India corridor.
