Padma Shri Pratap Govindrao Pawar

Mr. Pawar is Chairman and Managing Director of Sakal Papers Pvt. Ltd. He is the former President of the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA), Pune. He serves on various boards and is a leading figure within the education sector in Maharashtra, India. The Government of India awarded him Padma Shri award in 2014 for his contribution to trade and industry in India.

Rakesh Ramanlal Shah

Mr. Rakesh Shah is Chairman and Managing Director of GSEC Limited for more than 40 years. GSEC Ltd. is the holding company for a conglomerate of companies. The company has functioned as a custodian of Indian Customs at Ahmedabad International Airport since 2004. He is presently Honorary Consul for Sri Lanka in Ahmedabad. He is former President of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ahmedabad.

Dr. Amit Lath 

Dr. Amit Lath was conferred the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award 2023, by The President of India. He has received a Doctor of Advance Studies “Honoris Causa” for Excellence in Management by University of Azteca. He has several industry positions.

Dr. Mohamed Althaf 

Dr. Althaf is the Global Director and CSO of Lulu Group International, responsible for spearheading the company’s strategic expansion and identifying new revenue streams. In his role as Director of Y International in the UK, USA, Italy, Spain, Poland, Canada, and Australia, Dr. Althaf oversees the Group’s export and distribution operations across Europe, Australia, and the US. He is also a strategic partner for sustainable food technology companies, as well as He is actively engaging with the Indo-British Trade Council to promote and increase bilateral trade between the two countries.


Councillor Angela Kandola- IBTC Ambassador

Appointed in September 2024 as the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire, Angela serves as the Strategic Lead for tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). Combining high-level policy oversight with a deep-rooted commitment to local representation, she also continues to serve her community as a backbencher Councillor for Nottingham City Council.

A Legacy of Strategic Leadership Elected to Nottingham City Council in 2019, Angela has held several vital Executive Assistant positions and held a Portfolio role for Transport, Highways, and Planning (2023–2024). Her tenure is marked by a versatile command over complex urban issues—from Education and Employment to Housing and Energy.

25 Years of Community Advocacy Before entering local government, Angela spent 24 years as the Chief Executive of AWAAZ (1996–2020). A specialist in supporting BAME individuals, she built an exceptional track record of delivering services within highly complex environments, including mental health, substance misuse recovery, offending, homelessness prevention and domestic violence.

With a career defined by operational excellence and a “hands-on” approach to social justice, Angela remains a powerful advocate for the vulnerable, ensuring that strategic policy always translates into real-world safety and support for the people of Nottinghamshire.
